10th Congress of the WAP-Rio 2016
On April 25th 2016 began the 10th Congress of the WAP: "the Speaking Body. The Unconscious in the 21st Century", which took place in Rio de Janeiro until April 28th. This event was opened by Miquel Bassols, current president of the WAP and Marcus André Vieira, president of the Congress.

Within the framework of the Congress of the WAP and under the title: "Metaphysics cannibals" Ana Lúcia Lutterbach Holck and Sergio de Castro interviewed Eduardo Viveiros de Castro.
Eduardo Viveiros de Castro is a prominent Brazilian anthropologist who was mentored by Claude Levi-Strauss. His publications are considered to be a fundamental contribution to Brazilian Anthropology and American Ethnology. One of his greatest contributions is linked to the development of the concept of "Amazonian perspectivism".
He taught at the École des Hautes Études de Sciences Sociales at the University of Chicago and the University of Cambridge. He is a current professor at the National Museum of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
