Towards PIPOL 7: Interview with Claudio Strinati about the fresco by Luca Signorelli
Claudio Strinati introduces us to Luca Signorelli's fresco with the rythm of an adaggio (San Brizio del Duomo di Orvieto chapel) reaching in crescendo the detail of La cacciata dei dannati dal paradiso, chosen as the image for the VIIth Congress of the Eurofederation of Psychoanalysis: Victim! Amidst humanism Signorelli interprets the Final Judgement in an original, heretic and anticipatory way. By means of owning the choice of this detail in Signorelli's fresco, he illuminates the ethical paradox that is inherent in the notion of victim.
