School of the Freudian Cause- ECF Campus 2025–2026

The Campus of the École de la Cause freudienne, which offers ECF courses, welcomes all participants interested in psychoanalysis, regardless of their age, status or level of education.

Every evening, every week, throughout the year, the practising members of the School develop their research through the study of a psychoanalytic concept for as many people as possible. In this way, they demonstrate the impact of Lacanian psychoanalysis on clinical practice and shed new light on so-called social debates, which are so many knots of discourse constituting the discontent in civilisation.

The topics are conducive to demonstrating that the experience of analysis is a way of not giving in to the growing impasses of our societies. This year's topics will include passions, devastation and failure, erotomania, the function of concepts and their development, the contribution of the first female analysts, autism, drive and the real of jouissance. An introductory course to psychoanalysis will focus on hysteria. Finally, one of the Campus courses will be taught by a cartel - made up of four, plus one - on the notion of drive.

By following these courses, free from university obligations, you will be able to choose to participate in a professor's research and contribute to it by proposing a piece of work whose form will be defined with him or her: oral presentation, written work, participation in the preparation of a bibliography, etc.

There are different ways to attend the ECF Campus. Each course is open and freely accessible to all those who come to follow it on the ECF premises. In addition, throughout France and from anywhere in the world, it is possible to register to follow a course by videoconference during the year.

Thanks to Radio Lacan, you can listen to the first class of each course free of charge. All classes are in French.
