Within the framework of the Conference Days of the Nel-Medellín "These moms of today... A perspective from psychoanalysis”, made on June 28th, 29th and 30th of 2018, in Medellín, Guy Briole gave a public lecture at the Pilot Public Library of that city with the title "Mothers and war: the unknown of the mothers of the Unknown Soldier ". Our colleague and collaborator of Radio Lacan Heidi Gehler, brings us a review for the listeners. A review that tries to convey the fundamental points of the lecture in relation to the role of mothers of the war, to the children, and to the parents, in the moment and in the post war.
