The 2025 Question of the School of the NLS was held on the 18th of January under the title “In Supervision”. We are pleased to present two of the sequences held on the day, along with the Introduction by Patrcia Bosquin-Caroz, President of the NLS, in which she shows that while Lacan was de-standardising the exercise of supervision, he was at the same time establishing it as necessary. She also emphasises the aspect of infinite formation, distinguishing between supervision of the analyst’s desire from that of the case. We can hear these elements in the testimonies of both the confirmed analysts "Supervision Is Not Just for the Young", with Lieve Billiet and Frank Rollier, and analysts after the Pass: "Supervision after the Pass", with Dossia Avdelidi and Dominique Holvoet.
