On Friday the 10th of June ICLO-NLS was delighted to welcome Rik Loose and Alan Rowan to give a joint seminar, a preparatory event toward the NLS Congress titled "Fixation: A Bone in Psychoanalysis". In the seminar, Alan Rowan and Rik Loose consider aspects of Freud’s notion of fixation within the development of Lacan’s work. With an introduction by Caroline Heanue, Chair of ICLO-NLS. On Saturday the 11th of June ICLO-NLS was delighted to once again welcome Alan Rowan who gave a seminar which spoke to the title "Repetition: From Freud to Lacan". This was a preparatory event towards the NLS Congress 2022 titled "Fixation and Repetition".
