On the 26th of October, 2019, the Secretary of the Turin School of Lacanian Psychoanalysis of the Freudian Field, the Psychoanalytic Center for the Treatment of Contemporary Ailments Onlus, the Aletosfera Association, the Psychoanalytic Institution of the Lacanian Orientation (IPOL) and the l'Accademia Torinese dell’Inatteso of the Movida Zadig organized in Turin the Conversation “Incarnations of Hatred. Racism, Sexism, Everyday Cruelties.”The different incarnations of hatred in contemporary times are responses that ignore and deny the real. Alongside the jealous hatred linked to the symbolic and the imaginary, a solid hatred, a hatred that is not symmetrical with love, is increasingly emerging. A hatred full of jouissance that aims at the being of the other to cancel and reduce it to a residue.
