Fairies
Alicia Arenas proposes a reading of the story by the Grimm Brothers "Fairies". We hear initially, the polarization of love and hate of a mother to her daughters: "the good" and "bad". It is a reflection about maternal havoc that demonstrates us that in this story, the most terrible version of havoc is not necessarily on the side of rejection, but on 'blind love' to a daughter. This unconditional love prevents the separation and the creation of a bond with the others. That’s to say, it prevents from finding love.
