A quarter of a century, 5 lustrums, 5x5. Different ways of saying 25 years. On the 6th of May 2000, at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis of the Freudian Field in Spain was founded. This act was preceded by almost 20 years of work in which a clinical, epistemic and political orientation was woven. An orientation that came from the hand of Jacques-Alain Miller, who knew how to "deal politically with the impossible". 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of its creation. You will find here the first chapter of 5x5: the first episode is entitled "The Creation of the ELP". Five of the psychoanalysts who were present at the time of the founding of the School in Spain answered two questions: What did the experience of founding the ELP teach us?
