On Saturday the 9th of March 2024, at the opening of the WAP Uruguay Delegation Seminar, Christiane Alberti, President of the WAP, gave a lecture on Analysis of Supervision. The presentation was given by Jorge Bafico from the EOL Uruguay Delegation. Christiane Alberti situated the coordinates of what we call the "clinic of supervision", a practice that does not claim any exercise any power, and whose aim is to keep the analyst/analysand awake in his act. In this clinic it will not be a matter of telling the story, but of locating the signifiers that situate the analysand's singular mode of jouissance, the incurable. A privileged use of supervision as an instrument that situates the analyst as the analysand of his own practice, thus rescuing the value of the word in the analytic experience.
