This excellent conference by Oscar Ventura took place on the 17th of March as part of the "Cycle of conferences open to the city" entitled "Sexual diversity: a paradigm of our time" promoted by the Institute of the Freudian Field in Alicante. This conference was the occasion to think and talk about the consequences of self-determination, the position of psychoanalysis in the face of the discourse of science and the place of psychopathology in the current scenario.
