On the 18th of May 2024, in the city of Salvador, Bahia, the First Preparatory Meeting for the XXV Brazilian Meeting of the Freudian Field took place, whose title was "Bodies Imprisoned by Discourse... and Their Remains". At this meeting, two of the four working axes of the meeting were presented. Luiz Fernando Carrijo presented Axis 1, entitled "Imaginary Captures and the Real of the Body". Marcelo Veras presented Axis 2: "Incidence of the Discourse of Science on Bodies". Afterwards, Rômulo Ferreira da Silva commented on the papers and raised questions.
