On the 14th of June, 2020 the Scuola Lacaniana di Psicoanalisi organized a video conference of the second meeting of the series on "The analytical practice and its Lacanian orientation", under the title "The presence of the analyst". Davide Pegoraro highlights how the experience of the pass allows one to write the letters of one's own singular presence. Focchi maintains that the analyst occupies the position of the object's semblant, an empty position that acts as the attraction to desire.
