We present here a conference organised by the Seminar of the Freudian Field in San Sebastián as part of the cycle "A Psychoanalytical Look at Current Issues", on the 1st of March. Vilma Coccoz offered as a starting point research on Tetsuya Ishida, the Japanese autistic painter who offered through his work a crude but unavoidable reflection of the contemporary subject; but beyond this portrait in which we are concerned, she managed to bring us closer to the experiences of autism and its clinic.
