On February 1st 2016, the Annual Evening of the WAP took place at the ECF in Paris, in participation with Oscar Zack, Juan Fernando Pérez, Marcus André Vieira and Patricia Bosquin-Caroz. Miquel Basols, President of the WAP and Laure Naveau chaired this evening under the title: "The Speaking-Body and its States of Emergency". Our times marks again the temporality of the WAP. The events of recent months in Paris -difficult for everyone but especially for our French colleagues- as well as situations of violence generated elsewhere set us out a reflection on situations of subjective urgency caused by the emergence of a Real than we are still far from seeing all the consequences.
