Jorge Forbes was interviewed by Liliana Mauas in Buenos Aires in April 2012. Jorge Forbes is A.M.E (Analista Miembro de la Escuela which stands for School Member Analyst) of the Escola Brasileira de Psicanálise. He was one of its founders and first director-general. He is also A.M.E (School Member Analyst) of the European School of Psychoanalysis and a member of the W.A.P. Forbes attended Jacques Lacan’s Seminar between 1976 and 1981. He is currently Chairman of the Institute of Lacanian Psychoanalysis and of the Analysis Project.
