IX ENAPOL "Hate, Anger and Indignation: Challenges for Psychoanalysis". Opening of the 2019 activities of the Institute of Psychoanalysis and Mental Health of Minas Gerais, EBP-MG.
On the 11th of March, the Institute of Psychoanalysis and Mental Health of Minas Gerais, EBP-MG, received the directors of the IX ENAPOL, Ana Lydia Santiago and Henri Kaufmanner. Invited by María José Gontijo Salum, Director of the IPSM-MG and Fernanda Otoni Brisset, then Director of the EBP-MG, who were responsible for the Opening of the 2019 Activities of the IPSMG-MG and EBP-MG. The presentations anticipated the elaborations of the work underway on the theme "Hate, Anger and Outrage: Challenges for Psychoanalysis". Through texts by Freud, Lacan and Miller, Ana Lydia Santiago introduces important references for the psychoanalytic approach to passion and anger, the way in which they are presented in clinical forms and their occurrence in the links with the object and with the Other. Henri Kaufmanner, in turn, collating references from other fields of culture, reflects and considers some hypotheses about indignation. Both open a vast and rich research field towards the IX ENAPOL. It is worth listening to and examining the range of issues raised by Ana Lydia Santiago and Henry Kaufmanner, which causes us to be put to work.
