The WAP night in Paris: "The mutations of the social bond. Its effects and treatments in the practice of psychoanalysis"
On January 30th, 2017, the WAP night took place with the title: "The mutations of the social bond. Its effects and treatments in the practice of psychoanalysis". The participants were Christiane Alberti (Toulouse), Xavier Esqué (Barcelona), Flory Kruger (Buenos Aires), and Yves Vanderveken (Brussels), who addressed the response of psychoanalysis of the Lacanian Orientation to the current fluctuations and changes in the social bond and its effects on the speaking being, as well as the inherent rupture dimension of the jouissance.
The General Assembly of the WAP was organized previously, on January 28th, 2017. Both events, which took place at the ECF headquarters in Paris, were an opportunity for our colleague and International Lacan Radio Committee member, Liliana Salazar-Redon, to speak with Miquel Bassols, the current president of the WAP, and with Leonardo Gorostiza, the president of Radio Lacan, who tell us about the importance of the points addressed.
In addition, our colleague Ana Viganó bring us closer to the event with an overview of what happened during those days.
