On November 25th, 26th and 27th 2016 the 21st Brazilian Encounter of the Freudian Field "Adolescence. The Age of Desire" took place in São Paulo, Brazil. The opening was the responsibility of the psychoanalysts Rômulo Ferreira da Silva -Director of the Meeting-, Ana Lucia Lutterbach Hock -current Director of the EBP and President of the Encounter- and Luiz Fernando Carrijo Da Cunha -general coordinator of this event. On November 25th, the first Plenary round-table took place, whose title was "Adolescent Love". It counted on the participation of Jorge Forbes and Rómulo do Rêgo Barros, and it was coordinated by Veridiana Marucio. The second plenary table discussion took place the same day and its title was: "Adolescence, a construction. Puberty, a scansion". This was the opportunity to listen to the presentations of Luis Francisco Espíndola Camargo, entitled: "Puberty"; of María Josefina Sota Fuentes, entitled: "Lacan, the reader of the three essays about the theory of sexuality"; and, finally, that of Ana Lydia Santiago, entitled: "The problem of the body of the Other". The coordinators were Paula Borsói and Pablo Sauce. On November 27th 2016 the Guarantee Round-Table was held under the title "The Guarantee at the EBP", in participation with Sergio Laia and coordinated by Marcela Antelo, current president of the EBP.
