EOL’s Board Night: "Lacan’s last teaching in the light of the training"
In his course, Jacques-Alain Miller picks up a García Lorca’s phrase which can guide the discussion about the very latest teaching training: "You have to break everything so that dogmas will be purified and for rules to have a new tremor", which leads him to say that the tremor is what Lacan always did. With that "he purified the dogmas of psychoanalysis". Then, which are the consequences, of this tremor that Lacan produces each time in his teaching, for the psychoanalyst’s training? Chapter XXIII of this course -from where G. Lorca’s phrase was extracted - in particular with regard to religion, belief, ending the symbolic and magic-, is the subject matter that Graciela Brodsky takes. Silvia Ons speaks of joy (jouissance) and its quality to dissolve concepts, considering that, we often fall into an ontological status of that joy, seeing it everywhere and not already knowing what it is. She suggests that there are other assertions in Psychoanalysis which run the same risk. Irene Kuperwajs deals with that tremor from a different perspective, with a question that arises from Miller’s proposal in this course... Can we speak about a mesh or netting of training? Does each one weave a web in a circular time with threads of analysis, control, texts, cartels, or at the School? Bordering those holes is what will be displayed as a way of weaving training. In short, an experience that touches the body. This last subject – the body - was also taken by Luis Tudanca, for his presentation-"The imaginary in association with the real" - giving emphasis to the primacy of the body, and how the body is presented today, from the perspective of the opening between the imaginary and the real.
