Interview with Jorge Alemán on the publication of his book On the Borders: Subject and capitalism. We talked about “The borders” we all inhabit; about his encounters with Allende and with Lacan in Paris in his youth; about the new emergent political movements of the left, also in his opinion, what the lacanian orientation can contribute in its re-invention ; and finally about the figure of the “the saint”, as the one who can interrupt the circular movement of the capitalist discourse. Jorge Alemán is AME (Analyst member of School) and the ELP and member of the WAP. He is teacher at NUCEP (Madrid). His last published work is Conjetctures for a lacanian Leith. Olga Montón is a psychoanalyst, member of the ELP and the WAP. She collaborates with Radio Lacan in Spain.
