On December 1st 2017, the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the creation of the Library of the Freudian Field of Barcelona (BCFB) and the inauguration of the new library premises named "Oscar Masotta" in homage to its founder took place. The event was entitled "Happening Masotta" and counted on the presentations by Iván Ruíz, Huiwai Chu, Ana Longoni, Dora García, Rosa María Calvet, Enric Berenger and Vicente Palomera. It was the opportunity to gather a broad audience to commemorate the fine encounter with Oscar Masotta.
