Interview with Vilma Coccoz on occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day
Vilma Coccoz is an AME (Analyst Member of the School) at the ELP and member of the WAP - World Association of Psychoanalysis. Teacher at NUCEP (Madrid) within the ICF ( Freudian Field Institute). She has a large experience on the practice and teaching regarding autistic subjects which is reflected by her several publications. Recently she took part of the documentary titled “Other voices”, and she had promoted the setup of a cycle held in Madrid: “The Lacanian practice in institutions. Another way to work with children and young people”. On occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day, we talked to her about the current state of approaching autism -the treatment of the so-called autistic subjects- within Spain, particularly in Madrid.
